First Real Mod - Oil Filled Shocks

These are two pairs of rear Losi MiniT Shocks. You have to use the stock bottom mounts from the existing shocks, and these need to be cut down in order for the spring retainer to fit. You also need to spacer-out the topmount a little. On my rears, I drilled a new topmount location.

AU Servo Mounts

I saw several variations on this mod floating around. This is my first successful stab at it. I will be developing this more, and I will be CNC cutting some new ones. The new design will not need spacers like shown above. Mounting a mini-servo directly to the axle is a huge improvement on steering.

Servo Mod

Here it is installed. Locknuts were used later to help keep the links firmly attached to the servo horn.

Hmmm tires were mounted wrong before pictures....

The Move Everything Around Mod

After getting the stock servo, and its protective bumper cut off, there is room to move some things around. The electronics can be located below the rear battery deck (if you remove the deck). The battery can be located (ziptied) right next to the motor if you remove the central deck. This handles REMARKABLY better than having the battery all the way at the back.

The battery is slightly off center, but doesn't seem to make the least bit of difference.

New Bumper

Shown above the mini-servo is the stock chassis before cutting away the stock servo's "protector".

New Bumper

The cutoff remnant has a piece that works great as a new bumper. The stock bumper would interfere with my servohorn, but this piece fit the ticket perfectly.
