FirePede (LamePede)

This body was a gift from a friend of mine. It is actually a Maxx sized body - so it fits terribly, especially with my LowMount mods. I hacked the wheel wells so that it would actually mount up. I had to also cut the back of the truck completely OFF to accommodate my wheeliebar!

The fire mask is the only cool thing about it. I bought a XXX Main Fire mask and peeled away the OUTSIDE of the masked area instead of the inside the way you usually would. I put the flame "outline" down where I wanted it, and then masked the rest of the body with tape and paper. There was a small clear area there waiting for my paint.

I used white on the grill, moved to yellow in the middle and finished it off with red. It gave some impressive of a fade, but not much. It turned out mostly white, the first coat, with red tips. Its hard to fade with spray cans.

I was so disappointed, I didn't even put the stickers on it. I've never used it in any of the videos either.
